Our Process
Retaining a financial planner is an important decision and it’s important that you are comfortable with your advisor. From our perspective, we want to make sure we are a good fit. To that end, we have implemented this process to give you (and us) a strategy for making an educated and informed decision about working together.
We do not charge a fee for this process and you are under no obligation to retain us.
You will go through this process with our sole financial planner, Marge.
This 20-minute phone call will give us both a chance to get acquainted and make sure our financial planning services are a match for your situation. If we decide to proceed with the first meeting, we will ask you to bring some financial documents with you as well as a written list of 3 things you would like to work on with us. |
The purpose of this first meeting is to learn more about you and to gain an understanding of your goals, needs and concerns. Because the information we gather in this meeting forms a critical foundation for the entire financial planning process, this meeting usually lasts about 60-90 minutes. At the end of this meeting, we will ask you whether you want us to perform our complimentary analysis using the documents you provided. |
Marge will apply her knowledge and expertise to answer these three questions for you:

In our second meeting, Marge will explain the findings of her analysis and go over the proposal. Additionally, she will be happy to answer any questions that you have. At the end of this meeting, Marge will ask if you would like to begin working with us or if you would like some time to think it over. If you decide to work with us, we can schedule our Welcome Aboard Meeting. |
In this meeting, we will do the paperwork to start the financial planning process. |
